The Manhattan Beach divorce lawyers of the Law Offices of Baden V. Mansfield have learned that the Manhattan Beach City Council is deciding whether the city would benefit from a trolley transit system being installed. The trolley would run east to west and would cater to individuals living east of Sepulveda Boulevard.
City Council voted 4-1 to create a needs assessment for the trolley transit system, which would include a specific route and financial plan. Residents in the area are concerned that it is a waste to introduce a new trolley system when Ocean Express and Beach City Transit, two trolley systems already in use in Manhattan Beach, have already been subsidized based on the low amount of use from the community.
People who are in agreement with the installment of a trolley system believe it would help lower fuel emissions by eliminating a number of motor vehicles on the street.
