This week, California Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon ruled that L.A. Dodgers owner Frank McCourt is to continue paying alimony to his ex-wife, Jamie McCourt, until addition divorce proceedings take place in November.
The two have been divorced since October 2010 but a number of issues, primarily the ownership of the Dodgers, needed settlement since then. Ownership of the Dodgers and other details of the divorce are still being finalized.
Jamie McCourt if fighting for partial ownership of the professional baseball team arguing that it should be considered community property. Frank McCourt will continue to pay $225,000 to Jamie McCourt until their next trial in November.
