Mariska Hargitay from the popular television series, Law & Order SVU, has just announced her and her husband will be adopting a second child.
The couple adopted their daughter, Amaya, at the beginning of this year. They have decided to adopt a son and name him Andrew. When the announcement was made, Mariska mentioned she was amazed at how fast the process went through the second time. After the paperwork was filed, it took only seven days for the claim to be handled and approved.
Multiple celebrities have adopted children including Sandra Bullock, Madonna and Angelina Jolie.
Mariska has reduced her hours as an actress to focus on being a mother. The couple also have a five-year-old son named August.
